The top 40 get to participate in the contest. I came in 41st. Seriously. \nHowever\, someone dropped out\, so now I am in “the Show.” I will be in the contest on Wednesday\, June 5\, 8:00 PM. John\n(guitar) is a retired elementary teacher who has been writing songs for over 30 years\,\nincorporating songwriting with his students to enhance the learning process and build\ncommunity. His songs are inspired by life experiences\, family\, and observations of the world.\nOver the years he has performed his music for churches\, summer camps and various open mics\nthroughout the Twin Cities.
